Twins Waive Pat Neshek

The Minnesota Twins waived Pat Neshek clearing a spot on the 40 man roster. Neshek had 1 more option year available but the Twins opted to waive him. He was immediately claimed by the San Diego Padres. This was confirmed by Neshek as he tweeted he was claimed and packing his bags to head West. No further information available.

    Twins players seemed to be caught off guard as Denard Span tweeted "Are you serious?" & Michael Cuddyer could only tweet "Really?"

  2. Twins appear to be positioning themselves to make a move of some sort, as things currently stand there are only 39 guys on the 40 man roster and in camp at this time.
